Jazz Band is comprised of saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, drum set, and keyboard musicians who must be enrolled in a curricular band (unless waived by the director). The jazz season begins in November and ends in late April. The band rehearses twice weekly after school. We perform at several school and festival events in December, January, March and April. From this large ensemble, a 9-piece combo is created for more in-depth jazz experiences, and more extensive performance opportunities.
