Pit Orchestra is comprised of musicians from all the curricular bands and orchestras who are selected by the pit orchestra director in November. The instrumentation is based on the requirements of the specific Broadway musical being performed in February. This ensemble rehearses from November-February after school and on some Saturdays, at least once or twice per week, then every day for the two weeks prior to the musical.
